Ed has been an Icon in the Freedom Movement for decades, beginning his “Political Career” by electing himself to office with just one vote – his own. Since then he has worked himself upwards to fill two Delegate slots at Libertarian National Conventions before following Ron Paul over to the Republican Party and going to the RNC in Tampa 2012 to support him. Ed also represented Arizona as the Voting Delegate at the Historic Continental Congress 2009 in Illinois. Currently he is working diligently to complete Phase I of the HBB Project. Former RTO for the 36th Medical Detachment (Helicopter Ambulance) in the ARMY, Ed has been happily married for over 30 years – and hasn’t had a drop of alcohol since 1983.
Elijah Jon Gizzarelli was born in Providence, Rhode Island in 1987. He was the middle child of 7 to a single mother.
Believing that nobody can truly have freedom unless they are willing to fight for it, he joined the Army as a cryptologic linguist in 2007.
After receiving 5 promotions in 5 years, Elijah transitioned to civilian life. Still believing that in order to be free you must fight for it, Elijah works tirelessly to empower and bring freedom to anybody and everybody he is able to.
Adam Kokesh is a Marine Corps combat veteran who first became a national figure as a member of Iraq Veterans Against the War. He has since dedicated his life to the cause of FREEDOM! as a civil disobedience activist, author, and candidate. He is the self-published author of FREEDOM!, a libertarian primer with over a quarter million copies in print, a former Congressional candidate endorsed by Ron Paul, a former radio host, TV host, and now online with over 80 million views on his YouTube channel and countless millions on other channels, you probably know him as ADAM VS THE MAN.
Ted Metz is a US Navy Veteran and activist for laissez-faire government, especially in the Cannabis space. Since 2014 he has attended committee hearings to show support, testify, and lend advice to Georgia Legislators regarding medical cannabis, criminal justice reform, and hemp. Ted has testified around the state to advance the decimalization of personal possession and campaigned state wide to get hemp back into our economy.
“Humanity will be transformed when cannabis is returned to our food chain, as will global economies with industrial hemp,” Metz says. He backs his confidence in that statement citing highlights of his academic achievements – Biology and Organic Chemistry at UGA, Nursing at Perimeter College, Business Administration at GSU. Metz said, “As a serial entrepreneur, I am excited about the possibilities that follow the resurgence of cannabis.”
Metz stays active in several organizations focused on restoring or maintaining our natural rights and holding elected officials accountable to their oath of office. Metz speaks to groups and organizations at every opportunity to share his knowledge about hemp, and/or the health benefits of cannabis and his cancer experience with it. In 2018 he ran for Governor of Georgia as the Libertarian candidate and will continue to run with the goal of changing the dialog.
I was born February 2nd 1984 in Abrams Wisconsin to two loving parents Curt and Kathy VandenPlas. I am the first of three boys.
I attended Abrams Elementary and then moved to Washington Middle School, followed by Oconto Falls High School graduating in 2002. Very shortly after graduation I entered Army Basic Training in Fort. Benning Georgia graduating infantry school the following September being one of the first from Wisconsin to graduate from the school.
In 2005 I found myself deployed in Operation Iraqi Freedom with B. Co. 2/127th Infantry Battalion and continued with C. 1/121st Field artillery returning home in 2007. I worked several jobs in the district from maintenance supervisor in the trucking industry, to the ship yards in Marinette and Sturgeon Bay.
In 2016 while working and attending UWGB, I married the love of my life Emily VandenPlas as shortly after we invested in a sustainable vegetable farm Door County Farm LLC. I am very excited to be your Congressmen and the hard work needed to bring this country back to freedom.
